It was an inaugural experience for them because they were the first to attend the March for Life Pilgrimage while representing . Holy Cross Celebrates Black History Month To celebrate diversity and recognize a vital part of our country’s history, the Holy Cross social studies department is honoring Black History Month in February with a series of programs and projects school wide. Wrestling Takes Home Two Individual State Titles Congratulations to Holy Cross wrestlers Jacob and Evan Frost, who both took home an individual state championship this weekend at the state tournament in Bossier City. The Tigers totaled 208 points to finish 4th in the team race. Our educators have been trained through the McGrath Institute , learning about the complimentary nature of faith and reason, science and religion. During the 2018-2019 school year, Holy Cross educators spent time in professional development learning and contemplating the nature of science and faith and our role in the formation of young men as future servant leaders. Drs. Kettenring and Schilling have also done implementation workshops for Catholic Schools in the Gulf Coast region. The McGrath Institute partners with Catholic schools and parishes to address pastoral challenges with theological depth and rigor. By connecting the Catholic intellectual life to the life of the Church, they help to form faithful Catholic leaders for service to the Church and the world.
